Thibault and I are glad to announce that Alan Ross — my new colleague at Hobnox — is finally joining the WiiFlash team officially. Alan developed the great and widely used version of the WiiFlash Mac server. This move will allow us to maintain the quality of our package. We will soon merge his code into our SVN.
As a further announcement I have some news for future WiiFlash development. We are currently thinking about a WiiFlash version using the great JNLPAppletLauncher. This means basically an out-of-the box installation of the WiiFlash server with automatic updates to the end user and everything of course cross platform. It would make the use of WiiFlash in an online environment easier and also work as a standalone version for offline experimenting. Please tell me what you think.

thanx for evrythin’
Yeah a cross platform would be awesome. Please guys continue to develope this thing!!!
Maybe it’s the future
Hi Guys,
Love the work you are doing. Keep it up.
Looking forward to cross-platform balance board support.

hopefully we ll have full vista support soon too.
can’t wait to try this beast
great job guys.
I ran into some problem using wiiFlash server.
I used Bluesoleil and a Trendnet bluetooth adapter. It works fine when I used my wii fit board at home. But then I used another board at work (with the same computer), but wiiflash server just can’t detect the connected board.
I know the board is definitely connected since I used some other program (matlab wiimote) and successfully recognized the device; how come wiiFlash server can’t connect to it? Is it related to my first usage of wiiFlash server with another wii fit board?
many thanks for your help.
I was wondering why the wiiflash server were limited to 4 slots… is there any way to put more wii controller ? i would be interested to put like… 8 controlers. Is it possible ? How to do it ? If u’r busy with something else i can try
Hello.
First of all great stuff you’ve done here
Will be well used in the game we are working on ( I’ll send you a link &&/|| video )
I have a feedback/question.
In the svn, there is only the console version of the server, which doesn’t seem to find the wiimote ( although connected )
The GUI version is not in there.
I understand that it’s may be because you don’t want to release the source yet ( can’t post something without the sources )
So I have then downloaded the zip here, and there is the GUI version in it, which works fine… plus the sources…
So maybe you should think of updating the svn, and you zip package at the same time ( as the sources are really different )
Does it make sens to you?
Cheers
