WiiFlash 0.3.1 release !

We are happy to announce a brand new release of WiiFlash !

This 0.3.1 version does not have any new features but includes two major fixes :

- The .NET WiiFlash server should be running better, and more compatible with some bluetooth stacks :)
- In the previous versions of WiiFlash API, you retrieved IR and accelerometer values with only 2 decimals out of the point. Now you get real floating point values (IEEE 754).

Check the download page to download this new version !

How can we know the IR value of the max and min X and Y ?
you only say that it’s in floating point but, testing values give me something like : 10650000.00 for the max and 9850000.00 for the min.

    What is the rule ?
With the old version it was between 0 for the min and 1 for the max

    Hi BloodFire,

It seems like you are using the new WiiFlash Server 0.3.1, but still using the old WiiFlash API. Please make sure you use new the swc ;)

    Let me know ;)

i am trying to get this system to work but am running into a lot of problems. mostly i can connect the wiimote to the bluetooth in Windows but the Wii Flash server never sees it, it always reports no wiimote. are there approved or tested bluetooh adaptors or any advice you can give?

Hi guys, first of all great work on the WiiFlash server!
I didn’t find any e-mail adresses on the site so I’ll just post my question / problem here.

When I connect my WIImote to my laptop using blueSoleil (which works fast and easy) I get the following situation: When I start up the wiiFlash server I see that 1 Wiimote is connected (great!). The WiiFlash server then sends a buzzing signal to the wiiMote. Ok all goes fine so far. But a second or 2 after the buzz, my wiimote gets disconnected from my laptop (so says blueSoleil). The odd thing is that the wiiFlash server is still connected to the wiimote and I can still catch keyevents of my Wiimote but realtime data (roll, pitch) doesn’t work anymore.
I just can’t seem to find a solution on the net, anyone having the same problem? Thx!

    Hi,
I’m very interested in the architecture of the wiiFlash-server. I’m a hobbyist.
I found some hints for Bluetooth-servers in c# here:
    http://www.codeproject.com/KB/IP/Bluetooth_Manager.aspx

I would like to learn it in c++. What is the device ID for the wiimote?
