Hi everybody,
Joa and I are very busy lately, but we are happy to release this new WiiFlash 0.4 release !
WiiFlash 0.4 includes the following new features :
- Battery level informations.
- IR now includes up to 4 tracking points (point1, point2, point3, point4) !
- IR now includes 4 dots size (size1, size2, size3, size4) from 0 to 15 which can be helpful to determine depth. Here is an example on how to calculate distance.
Pre-release docs : http://wiiflash.bytearray.org/wiiflash-asdoc_0.4_prerelease/
Only the latest WiiFlash Server (0.4) will work with the new API. That’s the reason why this version is stated as pre-release. We will update older servers in the following days.
We hope you will enjoy it
Something really cool is coming up in WiiFlash, stay tuned !

Yeah! thats great! I am really happy about this news …
HI .crux.,
Thanks for your support and ideas
kind regards,
Thibault
great! calculating depth is going to really help out!
Great stuff!!! But with 0.4 i can’t use IR object. I tried to read x1, x2, ecc. and i got NaN.
With old API and 0.3.2 version all was fine.
Any idea?
Thanks a lot.

Hi G100g,
are you sure that you are using the latest WiiFlash Server ?
In case there is a bug, I will post an update tonight.
kind regards
Thibault
Hi Thibault,
thank you so much for this! Sounds fantastic and battery level is very useful. Since our application is “presentation”-enabled it is nice to be able to get these information.
Keep up the great work!
I really thanks for Your GREAT EFFORTS !!!!!
I have also not been able to use the IR object with the 0.4 release of the server and API.
Hi guys,
I will post an update tomorrow, sorry for the bug
Hi James and G100g,
I have fixed the bug, you can download the updated version here :

let me know
kind regards,
Thibault
I downloaded the new version, and at first it didn’t seem to work. But when reverting back to 0.3.2 didn’t seem to work either, I knew I had done something wrong. I carefully deleted all AS files, copied everything back from the original ZIP files, ran server 0.4 and re-compiled the SWF. Like magic, the IR object started to work again.
Hurrah! Thanks a lot Thibault!
James
Perfect !
Thank you !
